The Testing Center, located in the Office of Student Services in Holton Hall, coordinates testing services for new and continuing students which include administering the Virginia Placement Test (VPT); and courses through SSDL or cooperative programs, (Click here to register for a date and time to take your exam.)
The Testing Center also proctors the TEAS , (Click here for the TEAS registration link.) Should you need to take a test not included in these areas, please complete this form to determine if we can accommodate your needs. The testing center requires students to register for a day/time to take their exams.
VPT, SSDL or Cooperative Program Testing Registration
Research has shown that students who take notes perform better on tests than students who do not (Rhamani & Sadeghi, 2011). Since there are multiple ways to study and take notes, take some time to find out what works best for you and for each of your classes. If you would like more information, please contact The Learning Center to schedule some time to meet with a tutor to help enhance your study skills!

M-TH evening appointments can be made by emailing testing@mecc.edu. Be sure to include your Full Name, Student ID Number, specific test information and day/time you are requesting to take your exam
Hours of operation are subject to change and fluctuate during the time period between semesters, holidays, college-wide faculty and staff events, and inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. Students should contact the Testing Center to confirm the hours of operation prior to testing.
Students in need of academic or placement testing accommodations due to a disability must contact Disability Services in advance to make arrangements for testing. Documentation identifying the disability and necessary accommodations will be required.
